M7CL firmware V3.02 released

If you have updated your M7CL to V3.01 for this weekend, please update it to V3.02. We have found a issue with output port delay. Please find details at the download page.
V3 Editor is ok and you can use the V3.0.0 Editor with the new V3.02 firmware.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

p.s.
If you don't use output port delay for slot 1 or 2, the console is fine.

Why "for this weekend"?

Sorry, I might confuse you.
There was not much meaning in it.

The firmware was released a few days ago and I thought some people using the V3.01 console this weekend. That's it.

I updated our firmware from 2.03 to 3.02 on both our consoles this afternoon, tried out the new effects and everything seemed fine. Tonight, another guy from the shop went there to load his show on the console and the ethernet port wasn't responding. He tried the other console... same problem, it's as if the port is not on at all... has anyone else faced this problem??

The following is from Jose:

Hi Eduardo:
Hope things are well.
Good to hear you updated your consoles to V3.
At the same time please keep in mind you also have to update your M7Cl editor on your PC computer to be able to connect to the console.
Please let me know if you still have the problem once you update your computer.
Thanks, jose

The computer was updated too. The lights on the ethernet port didn't even light up... we are used to connecting it through the port and never had that problem with v1 nor v2. We tried even running through a LAN Switch and both ports on the switch were lit and the one on the PC too... but nothing at all was happening.. and the problem is with both our M7CLs.

Hi Eduardo,

The network port on the console does not have LED. How was ping command working?
By the way, have you tried to initialize the console after the update? This kind of issues can be cleared by it sometimes.

I think it's better to call our tech support tomorrow. Troubleshooting on this comment board does not work well.

Hi Eduardo:
I think we just need to troubleshoot the computer to make sure it sees the console. You said you were able to connect before and I just want to make sure you have the correct DME network driver and that your IP setting on the computer are correct to talk to the console.
Can you send me an email with your contact information?
I will be running seminars today, but should be able to call you at the end of the day, around 5:30 Pacific time.
My email is: jperez@yamaha.com

If you need help before that please call our tech support department at:
1-866-211-9366.

Thanks, jose

I see Studio Manager 2.3.2 is available for Mac OS
and there is a editor for the PM5D, Is Yamaha ever going to release a Mac OS editor for the M7CL?

Hi Brian, sorry you did not get an answer for your previous post. At the moment we don't have any information about Yamaha working on the Mac version for the M7CL. At the same time we are the last group of guys to know that kind of information. I will let you know if anything changes. Thanks

Thanks for the reply Jose,

I understand, was just hoping there was 'something in the wind' ...
With all the attention they were give to the M7, with the version updates and the move from analog to ES, I am hoping they will provide tools for the mac too!!
