PM1D at the Democratic Debates!!!

Here is Jason Greenspan piloting the PM1D at the recent Democratic Presidential Debates in South Carolina. The PM1D is in the F&F truck, which is also used for Fox NFL Hi Def broadcasts. Jason had never been in front of a PM1D until he came to our Dallas class last week, and a couple of days later, he is running the broadcast console at the debates!! "Initiation by Fire" at its finest!! F&F emailed Jason their PM1D file, which he modified off-line in his computer and loaded into the console when the truck arrived. All went great. Jason got compliments from the staff since he was running the PM1D like a seasoned pro. Here are his nice comments to us.

"I couldn't have done it without your and Jose's excellent guidance (and reassurance!). The class was great and gave me the tools I needed to work with the tools that CNN gave me to make the show happen. As a testament to that, one of the best compliments I received was from both the truck and CNN EIC's who were amazed that I was able to move around the console as quick as I did to get stuff done. One other nice compliment I had came from the truck EIC who would pop into the booth every once in a while to check in on me and see if I needed a hand with anything with the board and I would say 'No, I'm good". After a few times of this he said, "Man, you're pretty good. Most freelances come in here and their eyes get wide and they ask me a ton of questions about the board... you're OK. It's like I'm working with one of the NFL guys." That was a huge ego boost for me!."

Thank you, Jason!! It was great to meet you!
