See our engineers behind the TF series

Here is a picture with TF series engineers at the Yamaha HQ in Hamamatsu. The half of them were digital mixer experts but others were new at the time of the beginning.

I tried to maintain a good balance between challenges and traditions of Yamaha digital mixers in the TF series. The engineers helped me to realize it!

It is a very sad week for us...Shaun is moving...

Believe it or not Shaun is going back to Japan. His last day with us will be Friday October 10.
Shaun has a new assignment back at our headquarters in Hamamatsu Japan.
If you had the chance to meet him you know how much he cares about the end users and providing the best information available . Shaun came to the US to Manage the training department back in 2005, and for the last 3 and a half years he spent most of his time on the road talking to people and teaching seminars.
He will be posting information here once in a while, but we will not have him again with us during our seminars.
Please make sure you say goodbye.
Stay in touch friend...

King of Desserts?!!

For those who don't know, Jose LOVES dessert. I mean Loves it! Dessert with lunch. Dessert with dinner. He even sneaks a candy bar or two to his room every once in a while. But, lately...there's been something strange going on. Jose hasn't had a dessert since Friday, August 15. That's over a week with no dessert! And its not like he was turning down bad stuff either. There was an awesome carrot cake at lunch in Chicago. Some great desserts available at the Park Grill. He's walked by the Cold Stone at least 3 times here in Boston. But nada. Flan, Key Lime Pie, Boston Creme Pie...he's turned them all down!
I'm going to start a pole this week. How long will Jose go without dessert? Look for it tomorrow! The winner will get a cookie. =)

Peter Robinson -- Speaker Product Manager

This is Peter. Peter is one of our Speaker Product Managers at Yamaha. Since I've joined the training team, I've learned a few things from Peter that will definitely help me be more successful in the world of commercial audio. Like how to take a man down by his thumb and how to apply the right amount of pressure when you have someone in a headlock.

Oh...you didn't know Peter teaches self defense courses to the staff?!! Well, now you know. Maybe next time you'll think twice about asking me if the class is full! >:)

YCJ Staff visits the YCATS team in Minneapolis

The picture above shows Jose, Mr. Nao Kohyama, Mr. Hiroshi Hamamatsu and me in front of the M7CL at our seminar in Minneapolis. Posing in front of the M7CL was the perfect choice, as both of these guys were involved in the development of the console. Thats right Minneapolis, the guys who helped build one of your favorite consoles were there and available to answer your questions.

Thanks again to Nao and Hiroshi for joining us in Minneapolis. We'll see you again soon!
