Please check the Cascade screen <A HREF="http://www.yamahaproaudio.com/downloads/manuals/index.html" REL="nofollow">(Owner's Manual p.226)</A>.<BR/><BR/>So, you can share buses in ex1 and you don't need to share them in ex2.
